Our beautifully arranged two cave tour takes you into Waitomo's gorgeous countryside and introduces you to fabulous New Zealand glowworms. Without doubt the most mesmerising glowworm experience on offer, Spellbound's displays are extensive and close above. Best of all we give you lots of time to relax and enjoy glowworms at their best by allowing your eyes time to adjust completely to their soft lights.

In a small groups of 12 or less experience this amazing cave and learn all about how and why glowworms glow from our knowlegeable and enthusiatic guides.
After visiting the glowworm cave enjoy a short break and refreshments.
Then a gentle walk along a dry gorge brings you to the lovely natural entrance of the Cave of the Spirit (Te Ana o Te Atua), sweeping paths lead you deeper into the cave, and as you explore discover evidence of extinct creatures, and many changes the cave has recorded over time. Above, natural ceiling entrances create beautiful lighting effects as the sun streams down through cave mists.

Our tour is comprised of a van ride to a backcountry farm with commentary provided, two outstanding cave visits, two beautiful country walks as you approach each cave, and refreshments. Try some photograhpy, visit the caves in small groups, you won't get wet or too adventurous, tours are suitable for people of all ages and average fitness. Tour duration is 3hr 15mins. Half price entry to the Waitomo Discovery Centre is available to Spellbound Customers.
