Here at rentiki we noticed there are many people out there who would really enjoy the experience of longline fishing straight from our stunning Mount and Papamoa beaches. However, not everyone has the time, means or inclination to own their own kontiki system so we've made it possible for everyone to enjoy this fishing experience no matter what their situation. Seahorse kontikis are very easy to operate and using the electric retrieval winch means the rentiki package can be enjoyed by a solo fisher or the entire family!!
We have two main hire options at rentiki:
*** ELECTRIC RETRIEVAL - 3 HOUR PACKAGE FROM ONLY $80 ***
This is the hassle-free option which requires less physical exertion and minimises the wind-in time. Perfect for those who prefer to have a more relaxing experience or those who are perhaps a little less agile.
*** MANUAL RETRIEVAL - 3 HOUR PACKAGE FROM ONLY $60 ***
This option is for a more hands-on fishing experience. The manual winch option requires a bit more physical exertion but the experience of feeling your catch on the line can't be beaten!
Regardless of whether you prefer manual or electric, we will set up and send out your first set and - for those who are new to longline fishing - assist you when it's time to wind in. You can be fishing like a pro in no time! Everything you need to enjoy your rentiki experience is provided so you can literally book your time, turn up and start fishing.
