Welcome on board `MANTRA.` A 15m (50ft) fast stable powercat. Survey for 30. Overnight 8. Fish, dive or party boat. You name it, we can do it! (or we'll make it up as we go along). Come and test your luck in our prolific waters of the Bay of Plenty. From casting light lures to the vast schools of sea trout (kahawai) to tackling hard fighting kingfish and tuna or bottom fishing for snapper and terakihi. Rods and bait supplied.
For the diver the Bay offers spectacular scenery to hunt for rock lobster, spear fish or just take it all in.
Southern Comfort charters presents Hobbit. A very solid, safe 8.2 metre vessel with a top speed around 35 knots. Hobbit has a full MSA survey to 11 passengers with a private toilet and can fish 6 very comfortably. Fully game rigged and well kitted out electronically to find spot X.
Skipper Tony has over 30 years experience fishing and diving the Bay. He is Padi trained to Dive Master and can offer safe diving for both beginner and blue water enthusiast. Wreck diving is also offered with all dive gear available to hire.
