We are Matua Maori Experience. Where our aim is to give you the ultimate maori immersion experience, in performing arts, craft, stories & food.
Matua Maori Experience plays host to students ranging from junior high school, senior high school & young adults.
Groups are based at Tauranga New Zealand. The duration of our programmes lasts between one to four weeks. Programmes consists of:
* Maori Language lessons
* Sightseeing
* School and cultural exchanges
* Learning of Traditional Maori songs & dances
* Participating in Maori cultural activities
* Traditional food preparation
* Maori Arts, Craft & Design
It gives students an opportunity to learn Maori whilst being immersed in the culture, and that the students grow in both knowledge and confidence.
