The Kaimai Woolshed, a working wool shed until the 1940's, has been redeveloped to showcase the very best in modern New Zealand natural fibre garments, craft, house wares and gifts. The products are hand selected from New Zealand's most talented craftspeople and designers. Every piece is distinctive, and an authentic piece of New Zealand to buy as a memento of gift.
The Woolshed is the perfect stop, close to picturesque McLaren Falls and right next door to one of the Bay's most scrumptious cafe's the Kaimai Cafe.
The Woolshed is open 10am-4pm, seven days a week including public holidays
The Cafe is open 9am - 5pm seven days a week including public holidays and for dinner on Fridays.
There is ample parking for cars, motor homes, and buses.
