The bedroom has a lovely wood/ratan queen size bed, built in wardrobes and CD player. This room can be opened out into the main living area by opening up the floor to ceiling bi-fold doors to make a studio space.

For those that wish to eat in, there is a fully equipped open plan kitchen with electric oven and gas hob. Alternatively, a gas BBQ is available and guests can dine al fresco at the table and chairs on the terrace overlooking the gardens. This is accessed through French doors from the living area and is also a warm and sunny spot to read.

The large luxury bathroom is fitted with a powerful satin jet shower connected to an infinity hot water system perfect for relaxing after a days exploring.

The main living area has a warm cosy fireplace an HD TV system including MySky and an HD DVD player with a great selection of classic movies.

A path leading down from the terrace into the gardens invites guests to sit and reflect on one of the many benches scattered around the grounds

Katikati township (10 minutes) has a choice of formal (Twickenhams) and informal ( The landing ) restaurants as well as a large supermarket.

The bird gardens cafe is available 10-4.30pm.
