Rides are over purpose built quad bike trails, all through scenic fern clad native bush with breathtaking scenery.
No license or experience is necessary as the guides are specialised in looking after the "First time rider" to the "Experienced rider". All you need is a sense of adventure - we will help you with the rest!
Full familiarisation is given on the safe operation of your quad before trip commences. The more confident riders leave first behind the lead guide and slower/nervous riders follow. We give you the freedom to ride at your own safe speed within your ability and to conditions.
There are 1 - 2 & 3 hour trips and you have the choice of riding on either the "SPORTRAX RIDE" (Latest Suzuki 250cc sports quad) OR the "SCENIC RIDE" on (Honda 4wd 300cc quad) All trips are through scenic native bush and we stop for light refreshments on the 2 & 3 hour trips where there are spectacular views and great photo opportunities.
This is an all year round activity, many have said. More fun in the rain and mud!
If you're looking for something even more adventurous experience the 1 Day trip in the Tongariro Forest Park. This is an amazing unique alpine - wilderness area of the volcanic plateau.
Awesome trails, traverse rocky river beds, navigate rugged bush trails to get to the ridge tops overlooking spectacular river valleys below, with awesome views of the mountains and surrounds.
Some experience is necessary on these trips and a minimum of 2 riders required. Lunch provided.
