You really do get it all at Karaka Tree - a Qualmark 4 star motel offering fantastic value for money, excellent customer service and spacious, comfortable rooms to suit everybody's needs. We are set in attractive grounds directly across the road from Lake Taupo with free off-street car parking & we are the only motel in Taupo with geothermal mineral freshwater hot spa pools in every room.
We have 24 spacious Spa Studios which are located upstairs & One Bedroom Spa Suites which are located on the ground floor. We also have a two bedroom Spa Suite which sleeps up to 6 people and has 2 bathrooms.
Every room is extremely spacious & the One Bedroom Spa Suite and the Two bedroom Spa Suite offers a separate bedroom and lounge area, as well as a private courtyard area with your fabulous geothermal mineral water hot spa pool and attractive brand new outdoor table and chairs. The Spa Studio has a separate room with a geothermal mineral hot spa pool. All rooms have an en-suite with a vanity & walk-in shower cubicle.
All rooms are serviced daily and have Queen or King-size beds, kitchenettes, microwaves, tea and coffee, hairdryers, iron and ironing boards, electric blankets, telephone, Sky TV, electric frying pans & clock radios and plunger coffee is available. Wireless Broadband internet access is available throughout the motel.
Children are very welcome at Karaka Tree - our relaxed feel is perfect for families. We just ask that children are supervised around the complex. All additional charges are paid direct to the motel. Cots and highchairs available on request. Cooked, continental or light breakfasts are delivered daily in-room. There are plenty of free car parking spaces for our guests. We are directly opposite Lake Taupo.
All of our rooms are non smoking, but ashtrays are provided around the motel for outside smoking if required.
