Greenfields Lodge has a fantastic farm setting with sweeping lawns, gardens and panoramic views overlooking rolling countryside and Mt Tauhara. The lodge is only 16kms to Taupo and is just five minutes to the tourist attractions and the world class golf at Wairakei. Greenfields Lodge is the perfect central stopover for travelling around the North Island.
Greenfields offers private bed and breakfast accommodation - perfect for couples and travellers or you can choose to have a self catered stay which is suitable for groups and families. The Lodge is also available for exclusive use and can sleep up to 12 guests.
Greenfields Lodge has recently been refurbished and is well appointed throughout. The lodge consists of five king bedrooms, two with ensuite bathrooms. Large open-plan kitchen and living areas offer plenty of space with everything you need in which to relax, and be entertained during your stay. Outdoor recreational activities and BBQ facilities are found around the gardens and there is plenty of parking for cars, trailers and boats.
Guests are welcome to explore the farm; Peter the on-site manager is happy to assist in planning local activities and can offer a complimentary farm tour where you can view the daily milking of 1200 cows or feeding calves when in season.
Greenfields Lodge has a quiet location yet it is in close proximity to various festivals and sporting events. Stay close to the multi-sport and motor sport action held in the Lakes District throughout the year. A complimentary shuttle can be arranged to drop guests into town or to pick up after events.
