Pure Cruise is a one of a kind eco-sailing adventure on Lake Rotoiti, just 20 minutes from Rotorua in the geothermal heart of New Zealand.
Each individual Pure Cruise sailing experience aboard the sleek and stylish 53-foot catamaran 'Tiua' departs from Lake Rotoiti's picturesque Okawa Bay. There are three daily cruise packages available - morning Soak and Sail, afternoon Daily Sail and evening Sunset Sail - or private charters by arrangement for an exclusive on the water' experience. With its spacious saloon, cockpit and deck areas, 'Tiua' can host up to 50 guests during the summer months and up to 35 guests during the winter months.
The 'off the beaten track' location of the deep, somewhat mysterious Rotorua lake offers guests the opportunity to savour the pleasure of discovering private beaches, secluded coves and relatively untouched bush-clad shorelines rich in cultural history and historical landmarks. The interactive nature of the sailing cruise means guests can choose total relaxation through to high-energy activity or a combination of both. Relax on deck or stretch out in the saloon with a wine or beer from the bar, try trout fishing, swim off the yacht, help trim the sails or take the helm (with a little help from the professional skipper), or soak in the natural Manupirua thermal pools.
