Paradise Valley Springs is Rotorua's must-see wildlife park. This tranquil and well laid out park is home to many of the animals and birds typically found around New Zealand. At Paradise Valley Springs, you will also get the chance to see the Pride of Paradise - the Lion Pride. At times there are also adorable Lion Cubs available for patting. With wide easy access walkways, Paradise Valley Springs can be enjoyed by everyone.

Interact with the animals at Paradise Valley Springs - animal food and trout food is available for purchase. Hand feed Rainbow and Brown Trout in the Ngongotaha Stream and in the spring fed trout pools. Meet the Kune Kune pigs, the Giant Eels, the Wallabies, lots of friendly farm animals, cheeky Kea and more!

As you explore this stunning Wildlife Park, you will find Te Waireka Spring (Sweet Water Spring). Touch and taste this pure New Zealand Spring Water from the Spring! You can also purchase bottles of this natural Spring Water to take away for friends and family.

The Wetland area at Paradise Valley Springs is a haven for birdlife. The walkways meander across the water in places allowing spectacular views of New Zealand waterbirds. Observe and feed the Waterfowl, the Grey ducks, the Paradise Shelducks, the Black Swans and more!

As well as the main path there is an elevated walkway amongst mature Tawa trees, vines and other plants, which then loops back to the main walkway.

The Lion Pride is able to be viewed as well, and there is an exciting feeding every day at 2.30pm. At times you are able to pat a Lion Cub - all this is at no additional cost!

Take a break from your exploration of the wildlife park - the snack cafe, with indoor and outdoor seating is the perfect place for a relaxing pit stop. Or enjoy a picnic amongst nature in the Wildlife Park itself.
