Lone Star Rotorua we arrived in December 2002 and are another of the 'must-see' attractions in this beautiful town. Now, along with walking around the boiling mud-pools and watching the finest Maori carvers chiselling away, visitors and locals alike can sample some of the dishes that have made Lone Star a household name throughout New Zealand.
We've a menu to cater for all tastes -for the bigger eaters there's our Classic menu with established old favourites such as the 'Big John Sirloin' which will test even those who are exceptionally famished, the 'Lassoo of Hog', 'Dixie chicken', 'Johnny Cash Stash' and that perennial favourite of all students, our world famous 'Redneck Ribs'. Guaranteed to get you really messy. Don't worry about it, consume with gusto.
For the more refined amongst you, we offer our 'Soul Kitchen' menu -where the meals are smaller and finer.
We have blackboard specials and even offer a selection of meals which are available in 3/4 size for your gastronomic pleasure......and finish off with a choice from our delectable dessert menu, featuring our world famous kahlua & morobar cheesecake and banoffie pie.
