Situated on the Brookby Ridge with unsurpassed views of Marlborough's Wairau Valley, the Highfield restaurant specialises in matching delicious fresh local produce with the ever so food friendly Highfield wines. Constantly changing seasons and delvelopment of the wines keep the menu exciting and varied.
The wine and food harmonies are created by the Chef and the Winemaker to give you one of the best culinary experiences in the Marlborough.
Established in 1989, Highfield Estate was purchased from a Marlborough grape growing family by the international partnership of Shin Yokoi ( Japan ) and Tom Tenuwera (UK) in 1991.
The company's ambition, derived from its owners' philosophy and culture, is to make Highfield an ultra premium, international, boutique wine brand.
Highfield wines are selected from varieties proven to benefit in Marlborough soils and micro-climates. Wine styles are made to reflect varietal typicality and to express their regional attributes.
Rigorous de-classification enables Highfield to make wines with the consistency that has brought fame and rewards to the label. Often described as generous and succulent with varietal clarity, Highfield wines have won many international wine show awards including gold medals and trophies.
Highfield is by nature, a truly reserve label, made only when consistency of quality and style is possible.
