Made from only our ripest grapes, this is a classically styled blend of Bordeaux varieties.
A combination of detail in the vineyard, including severe crop-thinning, and hand plunging around the clock in my Grandfather's seventy year-old wooden vats, has produced a wine of elegance, complexity and perfect balance.
A range of flavours abound including plum from Merlot, blackcurrant from Cabernet Sauvignon, and smoked meat from Malbec, with additional smoke and vanilla nuances from over a years ageing in the finest French & American oak barriques.
Bottled unfiltered, this wine has the structure to age gracefully despite being immediately enjoyable.
