Time out @ Titiokura is a casually arranged countryside accommodation. Our self catered chalet is unique, down to earth and your opportunity to experience the New Zealand outdoors!
Titiokura is situated in the ideal location for enthusiasts of nature's qualities and landscape features. It is a great place to start off with an adventure or retreat after a day spent exploring the abundant opportunities here in the backcountry hills of Rural Hawke's Bay.
The surrounding scenery is dominated by impressive limestone landscape and rugged farmland. These local characteristics influence the contrasting moods, spectacular sunrises and sunsets that frequent our place. Here at Titiokura, even the wet and wild or snowy weather can be appreciated, with a warming log fire and inside games to pass away the day and spend quality time with friends or family. Glow worms speckle our gully in the backyard to be appreciated by those up after sunset. It is an all season location.
Our close proximity to the Mohaka River with its wide range of outdoor activities is only a ten minute drive down the hill and will please those who like to spend their leisure time with choices such as fishing or kayaking.
The Main Chalet includes 4 single beds, a private bathroom and the kitchen.
Your Facilities at the Main Chalet are:
o Fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, tea - coffee making facilities, basically everything you may need
o Free tea and coffee
o TV, stereo, CD-Player
o BBQ
o Private deck
o Fireplace with wood supplied
o Bathroom / shower facility
o Laundry
o Fish cleaning facilities
To accommodate larger groups we also have another 3 rooms that share the kitchen at the Main Chalet. These rooms include:
