The New Zealand Surf School has over 12 years experience within the local surfing community and are a strong force in the growth and development of surfing in New Zealand.
Over the years our instructors have lead the industry with friendly down to earth expertise.
Now more than ever we share our appreciation for the ocean with our students. Therefore we always combine teaching ocean- and environmental awareness with the enjoyment of this sport.
Many school groups return to us for their End-of-the-year activities including disabled groups.

NZ Surf School is locally owned and operated from October till April.
Our school is a SNZ (Surfing New Zealand) approved operation. All our instructors hold SNZ Surf Coaching, lifesaving and first-aid qualifications.
Group instructor ratio is 4:1 instead of the normal 8:1, as we like to spend more time with each student and make sure the fun goes hand in hand with maximum safety.
