DAILY WALKING TOURS: Join the 23,000 plus people who take a guided Art Deco Walk each year. Your accredited guide will bring Napier's fascinating architecture to life for you as you take an easy stroll through the compact Art Deco Quarter in the vibrant city centre. Walks are held twice daily year-round (except Christmas Day), and are held rain or shine. No bookings are necessary. All walkers receive an informative Art Deco Walk booklet. Complimentary refreshments and a movie screening are available afterwards.
MORNING WALKS Compact Morning Walks last one hour and are ideal for people with limited time. They start at the NAPIER VISITOR INFORMATION CENTRE, Marine Parade (next to the Sound Shell) at 10am, and end at the ART DECO SHOP. Cost: $14 per person (accompanied children free)
AFTERNOON WALKS The original Afternoon Walks last 2 hours and include some interior visits and a 30 minute introductory slide presentation. At the end of the walks there is an optional 30 minte audio visual presentation. Walks start and finish at the ART DECO SHOP, commencing at 2pm. Cost: $20 per person (accompanied children free)
EVENING WALKS Guided evening walks will be conducted daily from 26 December 2006 to 31 March 2007. They start at the Napier Visitor Information Centre, Marine Parade (next to the Sound Shell) at 5.30pm. The walks will last 1.5 hours and finish back at the Information Centre. Cost: $16 per person (accompanied children free)
