PLEASE NOTE: ONLINE BOOKINGS NEED TO BE MADE AT LEAST 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE.
On arrival at Willowbank Wildlife Reserve, you will be greeted with a hongi and a short introduction to Maori culture. Then you will be conducted by your guide to our replica Maori village, where you will be met with a challenge from a Maori warrior (wero). You will then take a short guided tour of the village, ending at the concert arena, where you will be entertained by an interactive kapa haka (Maori performing arts) presentation.
After the performance, tour the New Zealand section of the Willowbank Wildlife Reserve, and see native species, including our kiwi house and outdoor kiwi breeding area. Willowbank guarantee that you will see a kiwi! After the tour, dine from the "Taste New Zealand" menu at the Willowbank Restaurant, featuring delicious dishes designed to reflect our local culture and environment.
