Combine the thrill of flying over spectacular Mt Tauhara taking in commanding views that abound from this imposing vantage point. South lies New Zealand's largest lake - Taupo, the majestic volcanoes of our World Heritage Tongariro National Park and the remote alpine Kaimanawa Ranges. North views extend as far as Mt Tarawera.

Continuing on we land amongst active geothermal fields at the Wairakei Terraces. Here enjoy a guided tour of the first ever man-made silica terraces reminiscent of the famous Pink and White Terraces.
