Partake in the old game of Curling, hurling heavy stones down the ice trying not to spill your glass of port or Gluwein. For the more adventurous, try Ice Hockey or a sled or tube run down our snow slope adjacent to the ice rink. Free entry for non-skaters. Curling Stones are $15.00 each to hire.

Hot Pools

From January 2008 Alpine Springs will offer three adjoining main hot pools landscaped in local greywacke rock and surrounded by the regions native alpine plants to create a natural setting. Pool temperatures will range from forty degrees Celsius to thirty six degrees Celsius. Each of these three main pools will have benched seating around the edges so you can sit back, relax and soak. We will be open from 10am until 10 pm.

These hot tubs will be half covered and offer massage jets, privacy and wonderful views. Temperatures in these pools will be adjustable, so you can soak in any temperature you desire. Most importantly, you will be tucked away privately. We will be open from 10am until 10 pm.

Snow Park

Adjacent to our new ice rink will be a one hundred metre long by fifty meter wide slope covered with man made and natural snow. We have two hundred and fifty to three hundred hours of potential snow making temperatures in Lake Tekapo and we aim to offer you a state of the art man made snow slope dedicated entirely to tobogganing and snow tubing, or simply frolicking in the snow. We will be open from 10am until 10 pm.
